Nice stay
Sandrine and Marc are excellent hosts, providing a clean, comfortable place to stay with all the comforts required and just steps away from the medieval city and markets. Their place makes an excellent base for exploring the entire Perigord region. Highly recommended!

Excellent stay in Sarlat
The house is ideally located. The center of Sarlat is easily accessible by foot. The house is functional and well maintained. The landlady – Sandrine – is extremely nice and professional. I would recommend this house.
Wonderful !
We could not have been happier staying in Sandrine’s well appointed house in Sarlat. The location was excellent and we found a great place to park. While in Sarlat, we didn’t need a car as everything is so close. The Wednesday and Saturday markets are a treat.
Very nice rental
We were 10 days in Sandrines appartement and had a great time! The appartement was clean and really nice and there was evereything we needed. Sandrine was a very kind and helpful host and available via mobile. Sarlat ist a great location for daytrips around the périgord and we never had struggle to find a parking space. Also shops und restaurants are near the appartement. The little park around the corner was perfect for our little dachshund.

Stay in Sarlat in March 2023
The property is beautifully decorated, clean and functional. Great location, short walk to the city centre and right next to a car park which was free for the period we stayed. Marc and Sandrine were very kind to pick us up from the train station on our arrival and were very helpful with suggestions of what to see and do in the area. Highly recommend this place to stay in Sarlat.
IDEAL
This property and it’s hosts Sandrine and Marc are so charming. The property is very clean, tastefully decorated and furnished and is very comfortable whilst being situated in an excellent central location.
Perfect for our family holiday
We are a family of 4, with two kids aged 4 and 1 and Sandrine’s place was perfect for our week in Dordogne. The house location is great, all the convenience of being in the village without the noise. The house had absolutely everything we needed, and it was impeccably furnished and clean. We stayed in mid Spring so the nights were a bit chilly but the heating in the house made it very cosy and warm. Communication with Sandrine was easy and she made us feel very welcome when we arrived. I only wished we could have stayed longer!
Perfect place to visit Sarlat
La Maison Secrète is the perfect place to visit Sarlat and its surrounding areas. All highlights are at walking distance. If you want to be in one of France most beautiful cities and visit Dordogne’s Golden Triangle than go for La Maison Secrète as your base camp. A very cozy place to relax after a full day of visiting breathtaking places. Thanks Sandrine and Marc.

Wonderful house in Sarlat !
La Maison Secrete is a great house in a great location in Sarlat. We loved our stay there. The place was spotless, the beds were comfortable and the large bathroom and nice shower were great. The location is the best! Just steps away from the main shopping street in Sarlat as well as a great central location from which to visit the area. You can park close by for an hour to unload your bags – just a very short walk from the parking lot – and a free parking lot is only a five minute walk from the house. Sandrine and Marc are very nice, very responsive and helpful with suggestions for places to eat, shop and visit. We visited some really quaint and beautiful towns based on their suggestions. We had a wonderful stay in the Dordogne!
Great location, clean and very comfortable.
We had a lovely stay at this stylish property, which lacks nothing for a self-catering stay. The whole property is newly refurbished, and tastefully decorated. The beds and bathroom/showers particular highlights. The location, yards away from the medieval town centre, can’t be faulted, and there’s free parking just a few minutes away. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to have a super comfortable base for their explorations of Sarlat-de-canéda and region.

Wonderful stay !
Sandrine and her husband picked us up at the train station and answered all our questions. The place is so clean and beautifully arranged not to mention the terrace . Water pressure was good and everything in suite was in good working order. I would gladly stay here again, quite and secure. Great linens and towels.

Sandrine’s apartment was right in the heart of the old town and very close to all the sights and lots of restaurants. It has a lovely private terrace and is really quiet at night. We stayed a week and found that it was ideal for exploring the area by car. The free parking is around five to ten minutes walk away (uphill) which wasn’t a problem for us. Sandrine and Marc were very welcoming and friendly and I really recommend this apartment!
Great little find in Sarlat.
Ideally placed for the old town amid the hustle and bustle of restaurants, shops and sights yet a peaceful little oasis with its little courtyard and good windows to keep the street noise out. The apartment was spotlessly clean, well equipped and with comfortable beds. Sandrine was a wonderful host. We would definitely go back

Property was in a great location
Marc was very welcoming and helpful when we arrived. Sandrine kept in touch throughout and was a great communicator. The apartment was very tastefully decorated and well laid out. It was amazing to have our own private space in the middle of the old part of the town. We had a great stay and would highly recommend.
Sweet Sarlat Apartment
We loved our weeklong stay in this comfortable terraced apartment right in the heart of old Sarlat. Our hosts kindly picked us up at the rail station but it’s an easy walk as well. We were steps from wonderful restaurants and shops. Your croissant will be warm as you enjoy it over your coffee on the sunny, private terrace.

Sandrine und Marc sind sehr nette und engagierte Gastgeber. Die Wohnung ist schön eingerichtet und sehr gut ausgestattet. Für uns war die Lage mitten in der Stadt perfekt. Es war nachts ruhig, tagsüber haben wir das muntere Treiben des Städtchens genossen. Die Landschaft in der Umgebung ist wunderschön und lädt zu verschiedenen Aktivitäten ein. Ein rundherum gelungener Urlaub.
5 Perfect nights
5 nights here, as part of a month travelling France. This property was by far the best for space and comfort. Other places hold back on the quality of the furniture, giving hard sofas and soft beds… but we had a soft sofa and a firmer bed… so comfortable. We chilled out alot at the property, as it was so comfortable
Nice stay
My wife and I stayed here in Nov 22. The location is great being a 2 minute walk from the medieval centre. The hosts are very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The terrace looks nice but it was too cold to use when we were there.
Medieval Sarlat Apartment
This apartment is great for a couple. Plenty of room and nicely renovated with a modern kitchen and bathroom. There’s a large patio with morning shade and afternoon sun. It’s a bustling location, yet with the windows closed, completely quiet. The medieval town has an enormous selection of good restaurants, sidewalk cafes and bars, all within easy walking. A real gem in the Dordogne.
Recommend
The centrally located apartment made it fun to stay in Sarlat for 16 days, explore the gorgeous region and practice some French. Highly recommend.
